The Eurasian Economic Union countries and China are planning to implement a project to speed up transportation and are currently increasing trade turnover (Eurasianet). According to the Eurasian Economic Commission, trade turnover between China and the EAEU countries increased by almost 30% in 2022. To accelerate the delivery of agricultural products, the EAEU and China plan to create a project for the implementation of accelerated rail and multimodal transport "Eurasian Agroexpress". During this initiative, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohim signed a contract with an authorized representative of China Railway Wuju Group Corporation Zhang Liang, according to which CRWGC company will build four sections of roads in the Sughd region. The contract involves the construction of 51.2 kilometers of roads, as well as 11 new bridges with a total length of 444.2 meters.
On November 29, the first Luban Workshop in Central Asia began operating in Dushanbe, Tajikistan (ChinaDaily). The workshop was created by the Tianjin Urban Construction Management Vocation Technology College and Tajik Technical University. The ceremony was held simultaneously online in Dushanbe and Tianjin, China. The new workshop covers an area of 1,138 square meters and has two specializations, including urban heating application and engineering measurement technology. The Tajik University has established centers of practice for "green measurement" and "smart measurement". Engineering practicum complexes and online classes with bilingual teaching materials and other learning resources are offered. Teachers from Tajikistan, trained by teachers from Tianjin, will provide technological and vocational training to the local youth. Named after Lu Ban (507-444 B.C.), who is known as the father of Chinese carpentry and exemplified exquisite craftsmanship and creativity, the workshops aim to train technicians around the world.
On December 2, on the margins of the 29th Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Lodz, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirodjiddin Mukhriddin, met with the OSCE Secretary General, Helga Schmid (EADaily, Avesta, MFA). The two sides discussed key issues of Tajikistan's cooperation with the OSCE, including the situation in the region and Afghanistan, counter-terrorism and cooperation on water and climate issues. At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe was signed.

To clarify the circumstances and causes of the incident, a meeting was held at the level of border representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan at the Batken and Isfara sections", the report says. In the course of the talks, the sides examined the details of the fight and agreed to prevent provocation and escalation of the situation. The conflict will be investigated by the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and additional units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be sent to the area.
